The Stones Are Rolling Into Town
All four Rolling Stones will be in London next week to celebrate 50 years since first gig
The Daily Mail reports that messrs Jagger, Richards, Watts and Wood will be meeting up in London with their families next Thursday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band's first show, which took place at the Marquee Club on 12 July 1962.
Former bandmates Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor will also be on hand to attend a gala preview for The Rolling Stones: 50 photographic exhibition at Somerset House, which features shots from that very first gig.
Photos from the exhibition feature in the beautiful new book, Rolling Stones 50, an officially curated pictoral history of one of the world's greatest rock bands.
The book is out today.
