The Rolling Stones reveal support acts for European Stones - No Filter tour
Three days before the Stones – No Filter tour kicks off in Hamburg, The Rolling Stones have unveiled their support acts.
Planet Rock favourites Rival Sons will have the prestigious honour of opening the bill for The Rolling Stones at Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium and Dusseldorf’s Espirit Arena in early October.

Elsewhere, Icelandic blues rockers Kaleo will open proceedings in Hamburg, Munich and Spielberg, with John Lee Hooker Jr. also performing in Spielberg.
The Struts are set to play in Zurich and Lucca, Los Zigarros in Barcelona, de Staat in Amsterdam, The Hellacopters will play in Stockholm, Leon Bridges in Arnhem and Cage The Elephant will perform at the three-night residency at the newly opened Paris venue, the U Arena.
Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have all been building excitement for the tour on social media over the past few weeks with the following posts from rehearsals:

Shortly after the Stones – No Filter tour was announced back in May, the band released a short statement on Twitter confirming UK dates are (hopefully) in the pipeline next year.
They wrote: “Sorry to our UK fans there are no UK dates on this run due to lack of available venues because of sporting fixtures. Hope to be here in 2018.”
Last month, Keith Richards confirmed in a fan Q&A on his official YouTube channel that The Rolling Stones are hoping to hit the studio to record some new material soon.
“Yeah, in fact, we are (working on new material) — very, very shortly,” Keith said. “Cutting some new stuff and considering where to take it next. ‘Blue & Lonesome’ caught us a little bit by surprise in that we figured it was something we had to do, but we didn’t expect the response that it got.”
“It almost leads one into the inevitable volume 2 but I don’t think we’re going to sucker into that straight away. But it wouldn’t take a twist of the arm to do some more of that. It’s such fun to record, and there’s plenty more where that came from.”
