The Rocket Dolls added to Winter's End 2020 line-up
Brighton rockers The Rocket Dolls have been added to the Winter’s End 2020 line-up.
Last updated 11th Mar 2020
The Rocket Dolls will bring their riff-heavy sounds to our fourth Winter’s End weekender at Sandford Holiday Park in Poole, Dorset on Saturday 29th February 2020.
They replace Tomorrow Is Lost on the bill, who have unfortunately had to drop out due to singer Cass King’s health.
Tomorrow Is Lost said in a statement: “Cass has been suffering from some health problems lately and they have gotten progressively worse since Christmas. We ask that you respect her privacy and allow her to get through this. We are taking each day as it comes right now so will keep you all up to date. We feel horrendous about this, you guys are the reason we are in a position to play these shows, we hate letting you all down, so sorry about this and hope you all understand.”
Everybody at Planet Rock wishes Cass well.
The Rocket Dolls now appear on a Saturday bill that’s headlined by Terrorvision and also features Piston, Gorilla Riot, The Treatment, Danny Bryant, Gin Annie, Bootyard Bandits, Naked Six and Glitter Machine.
Watch the video for The Rocket Dolls’ latest single ‘The Grip’:
Singer Nikki Smash says of the song: “The Grip is about that tense moment before you explode with rage. The video takes you into our ‘The Rocket Dolls Twisted Circus’ featuring three Twisted Circus Dolls on the edge of lunacy. Welcome to The Grip.”
Also performing across the Winter’s End weekend are Those Damn Crows (Friday headliner), Sweet (Sunday headliner), Matt Pearce & The Mutiny, Cormac Neeson, Diamond Head, Edenthorn, Trucker Diablo, Mason Hill, Revival Black, Buck & Evans, Empyre, Blind Haze, Keylock, Sweet Crisis and Rebecca Downes.
All weekend accommodation tickets to Winter’s End have sold out, however there are still day tickets and weekend tickets (non-accommodation) available.
