The HU announce June 2023 Rumble of Thunder UK tour
The Mongolian music sensations are back!

Mongolian music sensations The HU have lined up a fresh headline UK tour for summer 2023.
Part of the European Rumble of Thunder Tour, The HU will bring their unique sounds to Southampton, Liverpool, Bristol, Norwich, Glasgow and Newcastle this coming June.
The sextet of UK shows bracket The HU’s previously announced appearances at Download Festival’s 20th anniversary extravaganza, and at French rock and metal institution Hellfest.

The HU last toured the UK in November and December 2022 on the critically lauded Black Thunder Tour.
Last month, The HU joined forces with Alice In Chains vocalist William DuVall for an English language version of their 2022 anthem ‘This Is Mongol.’
The opening track on The HU’s second studio album ‘Rumble of Thunder’, the original version of ‘This Is Mongol’ was released as a single last summer.
Featuring William DuVall on lead vocals, the updated track ‘This Is Mongol (Warrior Souls)’ highlights the song’s message of promoting Mongolian culture and empowering environmental awareness.
In December 2020, The HU premiered a Mongolian language cover of Metallica's 'Sad But True'. They also recorded a version of ‘Through the Never’ for the Metallica ‘Blacklist’ album two years ago.

White Zombie
In 1985, the then 20-year-old Rob Zombie – born Robert Cummings – named his band after the 1932 horror movie White Zombie starring Bela Lugosi. The highly influential movie is widely considered the first feature length zombie film, and it even inspired Cummings' stage name.

Five Finger Death Punch
After watching Quentin Tarantino's 2004 martial arts classic Kill Bill: Volume 2, the Las Vegas metallers toyed with calling themselves Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique in homage to the character Pai Mei's fearsome killing technique. Although fascinated with the concept, former drummer Jeremy Spencer told Michigan Live in 2013: "That didn't sound cool. So, we changed it to Five Finger Death Punch."

It's widely reported that the influential Irish shoegaze band are named after the 1981 Canadian slasher film My Bloody Valentine. However, MBV vocalist and guitarist Kevin Shields claims that it was only a few years after they formed that they discovered they shared their moniker with a "really crap terrible Canadian film."
