Fresh from performing at BST Hyde Park as support to Guns N’ Roses, The Dust Coda have premiered their new single ‘Come The Night.’
Lifted from The Dust Coda’s new studio album ‘Loco Paradise’, which lands on Friday (7th July) via Earache Records, ‘Come The Night’ is a tribute to late Foo Fighters legend Taylor Hawkins.
Starting off plaintive and acoustic driven with vocalist John Drake singing emotional lines like “The brightest spark is gone / We still sing ‘Everlong’… His spirit never died / It’s only multiplied”, ‘Come The Night’ evolves into an anthemic, highly-charged rock gem.

Commenting on ‘Come The Night’, John Drake says: "When Taylor Hawkins passed away, a bright light went out, a diamond that was meant to inspire and infect us all with great spirit for many years to come suddenly disappeared. Around the time of his death, every person you would run into on the road (musicians, crew, friends, everyone!) - the first thing they would say with complete sadness was ‘Man! What about Taylor!?...‘ It shook everyone.
“You would find yourself talking to all of these people who didn’t know the man personally, but knew him so well through his playing, his spirit in interviews and his relentless championing of rock music on a global level in a time where rock is supposedly dying…
“This song is a dedication to those people, Taylor's family, Dave Grohl and everyone in the Foo Fighters camp, and, most importantly, the great man himself. We hope that we have done him proud, wherever he is..."
The Dust Coda’s 11-track ‘Loco Paradise’ album also features the Planet Rock playlisted recent single ‘Love Sick’, plus ‘Fairweather Love’ and ‘Road To Hell.’
Following the album’s release this summer, The Dust Coda hit the road in October 2023 for an 11-date headline UK tour. Tickets are on sale from now RIGHT HERE.
