Canadian rockers The Damn Truth have premiered the gravity-defying video for their towering anthem ‘This Is Who We Are Now’ exclusively on Planet Rock.

On heavy rotation on Planet Rock’s airwaves for two months now, ‘This Is Who We Are Now’ is lifted from The Damn Truth’s third studio album ‘Now or Nowhere’, which was primarily produced by Bob Rock and unleashed to the world on 7th May.

Like a deranged cousin to Blur’s ‘Song 2’ and Jamiroquai’s ‘Virtual Insanity’ videos, the impressive ‘This Is Who We Are Now’ video was filmed using state-of-the-art technology and sees Lee-la Baum (lead vocals, guitar), Tom Shemer (guitar), PY Letellier (bass) and Dave Traina (drums) perform the track in a rotating room.

Lee-la comments: “All members of the band were injured in the making of this video. And they loved every minute of it."

The Damn Truth's Lee-la Baum on My Planet Rocks:

Alongside premiering their new video on Planet Rock, The Damn Truth’s Lee-la Baum is the very special guest on My Planet Rocks with Wyatt on Sunday (23rd May) at 7pm. The show will be repeated at 9pm on Wednesday 26th May.

Wyatt chats to Lee-La about her highlights from the first decade of The Damn Truth, including the unique way she met guitarist Tom, and the time they opened for Billy F Gibbons of ZZ Top fame. Lee-La also picks tunes by Jefferson Airplane, Led Zeppelin, The Raconteurs and many more.
