Tesla Studio Burns Down

Band\'s Sacramento HQ is destroyed by fire

Tesla’s studio has burned down in Sacramento.

Classic Rock Magazine reports that J Street Recorders, which is owned and operated by bassist Brian Wheat was one of many buildings which were destroyed by fire in the early hours of 30 September.

The extent of the damage is not known, but a large percentage of the band’s memorabilia and instruments were saved from the fire, although a great deal is thought to have been lost.

None of the band were around when the fire broke out and it’s not yet known how much of their equipment and recordings has been lost.
