Tent Collapse Injures Two At Yes / Frampton Show

Crew members hospitalised after high winds scupper show

High winds caused a tent that was due to play host to performances from Yes and Peter Frampton to collapse, injuring a two crew members.

Nightwatchers House Of Rock reports that two contracted crew members were taken to a hospital for treatment Tuesday after an events tent was toppled by high winds as they prepared for the Peter Frampton/Yes show at Lucky Star Casino in Concho, Oklahoma.

Six people were injured in the collapse, and although none of the injuries were life threatening one of the crew members suffered a broken leg in the accident.

Lucky Star Casino spokesman Mark Rogers is quoted as saying, ""We're just thankful there weren't more people in the tent. We were expecting 5,000 people tonight. That would have been absolutely horrible."

The incident happened on Tuesday and last night’s performance in New Mexico was also cancelled as a result.
