The album follows ‘L.A. Forum (Live 1975),’ ‘Hampton Coliseum (Live 1981),’ and ‘Brussels Affair (Live 1973) and it was recorded in the midst of the Steel Wheels Tour, which was the end of bassist Bill Wyman's time with the band.

As with the other official bootlegs, there have been fan made bootleg copies of soundboard recordings available for years. However, this new version has been mixed by Stones producer Bob Clearmountain.
