Stones Roll Into London
Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie rock London's O2 - and we still have tickets for you to win!
The Rolling Stones kicked off their "50 & Counting" shows Sunday in their hometown of London before a packed O2 Arena crowd of 20,000 fans.
The band delivered a 2-hour plus set, with no support act, performing hits from their entire catalogue, as well as "One More Shot” and "Doom And Gloom” from their "GRRR!” greatest hits collection.
Special guests included former bandmates Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor, plus guitar hero Jeff Beck and RnB songstress Mary J. Blige.
Wyman joined the Stones for "It’s Only Rock N’ Roll” and "Honky Tonk Women”, while Taylor stepped in for "Midnight Rambler.” Beck was on stage for "Going Down” and Blige sang vocals on "Gimme Shelter.”
The Stones will play a second night at The O2 Arena London on Thursday, November 29 before heading across the Atlantic for three shows: New York’s Barclay Center on December 8, and the Prudential Center in Newark NJ on December 13 and 15.
