Stevie Nicks Denies Biopic Rumours
Despite the rumours, there\'s no film of the Fleetwood Mac singer\'s life in the works
Music biopics are all the rage in Hollywood, with films about Jimi Hendrix, Motley Crue, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain Jeff Buckley and Bob Marley all rumoured, underway or nearly underway. But one person that won't see their life dramatised on the big screen for a while is Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks.
Rumours have emerged in recent months that have linked starlets such as Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff to the role of Stevie Nicks in a new film, but the singer has revealed that this is nonsense.
"Nobody is making a movie about my life," Nicks told Us Weekly. "When there is a movie about my life being made, everybody will know. And it will be serious. Everybody thinks they are making a movie about my life but it's not true."
Nicks recently released her first album in ten years and she is due to reunite with Fleetwood Mac next year for a new tour.
