Steven Van Zandt Misses Australian Tour
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band guitarist feels "a little bit guilty"...
Van Zandt has had to pass on the tour due to filming commitments with popular Netflix TV series Lilyhammer, which is shot in Norway.
The guitarist has stated that this is his first time missing on a tour, as previously he held a 100% attendance record. His shoes are currently being filled by Tom Morello, of Rage Against the Machine.
"I’m very happy they got Tom Morello, ’cause it helps a great deal to know that Bruce is not there up front on his own,” said Steven. "I think Tommy, to some extent, will fulfill that function of interacting with the audience a bit, and interacting with Bruce a little bit.”
Van Zandt will rejoin the band for the European leg of their tour.
