WATCH: Steven Adler reunites with Guns N' Roses on stage in Cincinnati!

Steven Adler performed with the classic Guns N’ Roses line-up at the Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati last night for the first time in 26 years.

Published 7th Jul 2016

After Steven performed on ‘Out Ta Get Me’ 17 songs into the band’s career-spanning set, Axl told the crowd: "On the drums, you might know this guy. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Steven Adler! I guess we should do another!"

To a rapturous response from the audience, they then launched into fellow ‘Appetite For Destruction’ track ‘My Michelle’.

It was the first time Steven had performed with the classic Guns N’ Roses line-up since their infamous Farm Aid IV set at the Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis on 7th April 1990. He did, however, perform at their Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2012 with Axl Rose not in attendance.

Steven was formally fired from Guns N’ Roses two months after Farm Aid over his drug use and was replaced by Matt Sorum of The Cult.

Immediately after last night’s set, Guns N’ Roses took to social media to share the above image of Steven playing drums with Duff McKagan looking on.

Guns N’ Roses played an epic 25-song set in Cincinnati that kicked off with ‘It’s So Easy’ and wrapped up with ‘Paradise City’.

It was the latest pit stop on the sprawling Not in This Lifetime... Tour, which takes in stadiums in the United States and Canada throughout July and August.

The classic line-up of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan are yet to announce any UK shows. We’ll wait with baited breath for some news.
