Steve Perry Denies Journey Reunion Story

Former frontman has retired from performing and does not want to rejoin Journey

Steve Perry has denied claims that he wants to rejoin Journey.

A report in the Daily Star earlier this week claimed that Perry had asked to rejoin the band, quoting Neal Schon as saying "He’s no longer the lead singer – he walked out.”

However, it seems that the red top has been making mischief and had misquoted an interview with Schon.

The truth is that Steve Perry has retired from performing and a spokesman for the singer says: "It’s just not true. The story came from London, the home of tabloids – they make up stories every day. Steve is enjoying his retirement.”

Meanwhile, Journey head back to the UK in June for a handful of dates with Foreigner and Styx.
