Steve Hackett World Exclusive

We will be playing a track from Steve's brand new album on Thursday at 7pm

Published 26th Sep 2012

Released on 22 October, Genesis Revisited II is, as the name would suggest, a collection of re-recorded Genesis classics plus a handful of originals recorded especially for this release.

The album features guest appearances from the likes of Steve Rothery, Steven Wilson, Mikael Akerfeldt and many more.

"This time around, I’ve tried to satisfy what everyone wants, including myself" says Hackett about how he chose the tracklist "Initially, I was thinking of just going for the best songs not featured on the first album. But then people thought I should do those tracks where the guitar was emphasized. So, I’ve done both. I've also included four songs with Genesis threads, most of which were written during the period and had a Genesis feel, such as the co-written 'Shadow of the Hierophant’."

We will be playing the opening track from the album, Chamber Of 32 Doors, at 7pm on air in Nicky Horne's show on Thursday night and streaming the song here online for seven days.
