After receiving a massive FOUR complaints the ASA has decided to ban the artwork from billboards and other such advertising areas.

In a statement the ASA said; "Given its placement in a range of public locations, we concluded that it was likely to cause serious and widespread offence, was unsuitable to be seen by children and therefore was not appropriate for outdoor advertising,” adding that the adverts was "overtly sexual when taken as a whole”.

In response, Universal suggested that the album art is designed to "poke fun at the ridiculousness of the attitude to women, outfits and music in that 1980s era”.

The label did concede that it could have taken more care in the siting of posters to ensure they were not seen by children.
