Springsteen To Compose New US National Anthem

A theoretical new poll names The Boss as the ideal anthem writer

NME reports that a new poll by 60 Minutes / Vanity Fair asked people to name the person who should write a replacement national anthem to the Star Spangled Banner.

Bruce topped the poll with a massive 22% while Dolly Parton was second favourite with 19%.  Stevie Wonder came in third scoring 18% of the vote in the The 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll.

Bob Dylan was next up with 11%, followed by composer John Williams with 10%, Jay-Z with 8% and Madonna with 5%.
