Springsteen Guitarist Hints At Boss Solo Album
Steve Van Zandt believes Bruce is about to release a new record
"You know Bruce - he's always got an album in his pocket, he's always writing something," E Street Band guitarist, Van Zandt told Philadelphia WMGK radio.
He added: "I don't know this for a fact, but I expect him to possibly put something out that's more of a solo nature, before we get back together. Only because he's just so prolific, still, after all these years. He's still just a terrific songwriter and writes all the time. I would expect him starting to have a backlog of songs, just in terms of the time that have passed."
It's been a little quiet in the Springsteen camp in recent months since the release of the excellent Darkness On The Edge Of Town reissue last year.
He did recently guest on the new album from the Dropkick Murphys and made a surprise appearance onstage with the band at the House Of Blues in Boston.
