Springsteen & The E Street Band Announce Tour
Band to play Hard Rock Calling, Isle Of Wight & release new album in 2012
Bruce and the E Street band have been confirmed as one of the headliners of the Hard Rock Calling Festival, which will take place on the weekend of 13-15 July.
Springsteen will headline on Saturday 14 July, returning to the festival where he last headlined in 2009.
The band will also headline the Isle Of Wight Festival on the weekend of 22-24 June.
And as well as the two festival dates, Springsteen will play at Sunderland's Stadium Of Light on 21 June and at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on 22 June.
Tickets for the Hard Rock Calling, Sunderland and Manchester shows go on sale on Saturday 3 December.
Tickets for the Isle Of Wight Festival are on sale on Friday 25 November at 9am.
The dates will be part of a huge world tour in support of an as-yet-unnamed new studio album, much of which has been completed.
A post on the band's official website said "we want you to know that the music is almost done (but still untitled), we have almost settled on the release date (but not quite yet), and that we are all incredibly excited about everything that we're planning for 2012. That's all the info we have for right now, but we'll get back to you--real soon."
