Soundgarden To Play 20th Anniversary Big Day Out
Band to headline down under touring festival
Soundgarden played its first Big Day Out in 1994 - the year "Superunknown" was released. They played again in 1997 and they will return to the festival in 2012 to headline their first proper tour in Australia and New Zealand for the best part of a decade.
The dates for Big Day Out are as follows:
Jan. 20 - Auckland, NZ
Jan. 22 - Gold Coast, AUS
Jan. 26 - Sydney, AUS
Jan. 29 - Melbourne, AUS
Feb. 03 - Adelaide, AUS
Feb. 05 - Perth, AUS
Soundgarden are in the midst of writing and recording a brand new album, although no release date has been scheduled.
