Soundgarden Reunite
Grunge icons to tour in 2010
Grunge rockers Soundgarden have reunited and will tour in 2010.
The announcement came via Chris Cornell’s Twitter site and then a new official band website that reads:
"The 12 year break is over & school is back in session. Sign up now. Knights of the Soundtable ride again!"
No word on shape the reunion will take, or whether it will head to the UK but we will keep you posted.
The Soundgarden reunion has been much rumoured for the past couple of years, with various members claiming that they would get back together at some point. Unlike many bands Soundgarden’s split in 1997 was amicable and members have reunited onstage together several times over the years.
Their last studio album together was Down On The Upside in 1996.
