Soundgarden Play First Comeback Show

Grunge icons play first show since reunion was announced

Reformed grunge icons Soundgarden played their first comeback show since announcing their reunion earlier this year.

The band played a "secret” club show under the name Nude Dragons at the Showbox club night in their hometown of Seattle on Friday night with just 1000 fans in attendance as they played a 90 minute set that covered much of their 12 year career.

The show will act as a warm up for the band’s Lollapalooza headline show in August.

No other live dates have been announced as yet, but North American and European shows are expected to be confirmed at some point in the very near future (dates are expected to be scheduled around drummer Matt Cameron’s dates with his other band, Pearl Jam).

Blabbermouth have managed to locate audio from every song played on Friday, so you can hear it HERE
