Soundgarden Plan Live Album / New Material Possible
Expect a live record in the Spring
Soundgarden have revealed that they are working on a brand new live album, and have hinted at brand new material next year.
In an interview with Canadian radio station CFNY-FM guitarist Kim Thayil revealed that the reunited grunge pioneers were working on archive material as well as a new live record, as well as heading back out on the road for more reunion shows next year.
"We’ll be doing other shows,” Thayil revealed. "We’ll be working on releasing some albums deeper in our catalogue, like the B-Sides and a live album that we’re currently working on that we hope to have out in the spring.”
And with regards to brand new material, Thayil revealed that it was "very likely.”
