Soundgarden For Sonisphere?
Rumours suggest that grunge band may play at Knebworth this summer
Reunited grunge pioneers Soundgarden are rumoured to be playing this year’s Sonisphere Festival.
According to the Welwyn Hatfield Times Chris Cornell and co are in talks with Sonisphere organisers about appearing at the Knebworth festival.
Suffice to say that this is only a very vague rumour at the moment, so you shouldn’t rush out to get your Sonisphere tickets based on hearsay. However, they have already confirmed a pretty fine line-up that includes Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Alice Cooper, Iggy & The Stoogesm Motley Crue and The Cult with many more due to be announced in the coming weeks and months.
Sonisphere takes place on the weekend of 30 July-1 August at Knebworth Park.
