Soundgarden Continue To Preview New Material
Band reunite for first album in 16 years.
Soundgarden continue to preview material from their upcoming album "King Animal", which is due out November 16.
The band, who have reunited after a 16 year hiatus, have already released singles "Been Away Too Long" and "Live To Rise" earlier this year. The latter was used in the soundtrack to blockbuster hit The Avengers.
Now, the Seattle group have unveiled their latest offering: "Bones By Birds."
Chris Cornell called the track "a little dark". Adding that it was "sort of lyrically kind of inspired by being a father and having children and all that stress. You know, that stress about you don't want to see them lose their innocence...When children lose their innocence and sort of learn about the real world it's never a good thing - it's always because of loss, something bad happens, something they weren't expecting."
