Sonisphere Wins Festival Award
The metal festival won Line-up Of The Year at the UK Festival Awards 2011
The festival was headlined by The Big Four (Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth), Biffy Clyro and Slipknot, while there were also performances from Motorhead, Opeth, Airbourne and Diamond Head.
Elsewhere Glastonbury won the Best Major Festival award at the UK Festival Awards 2011, which took place last night in London.
