Smashing Pumpkins Announce Latest Reissue

Their third album is expanded and remastered later this month

Released on 16 July the band's third studio album, Pisces Iscariot, has been remastered and expanded.

The album was actually a collection of B-Sides and various unreleased tracks from the Siamese Dream period, but it ended up selling hundreds of thousands of copies.

"A collection of odds and orphans from the dusky realms of Pumpkinland" is how Pumpkins founding member Billy Corgan describes Pisces Iscariot in the liner notes penned by David Wild. "Pisces Iscariot was the little mix tape that went platinum," writes Wild. "This unlikely smash album that some came to mistake for the Pumpkins' third studio effort even yielded a hit single--another wonderfully odd moment in the landslide that was the intense early success story of Smashing Pumpkins."

As with the previous reissues of Gish and Siamese Dream there will be a standard single CD reissue and a deluxe multi disc edition containing a plethora of unreleased and rare material.
