Slash's wedding cake topper, featuring his own hair, up for sale

Guns N’ Roses fans (with deep pockets) devastated by the postponement of their UK and European tour last night can console themselves by purchasing Slash’s actual wedding cake topper featuring his hair!
The wedding cake topper was created for the nuptials of Slash and his wife to Perla Hudson in October 2001 in Hawaii and features a likeness of the happy couple complete with a cutting of their own hair. The miniature Slash is also wearing a trademark top hat.
The item is being sold by Hayden Galleries on eBay and it has a current asking price of $3,000 (around £2,400).
Describing it as “a truly rare and unusual piece from Slash’s life”, Hayden Galleries say the wedding cake topper is in “excellent condition” and comes complete with both a Certificate of Authenticity and Letter of Authenticity.

Guns N’ Roses finally made an announcement about their UK and European tour last night (11th May) confirming that it won’t be going ahead this summer.
Amongst numerous other European countries, the trek was due to call in at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday 29th May and Saturday 30th May, Glasgow Green on Thursday 25th June and Dublin’s Marlay Park on Saturday 27th June.
“Sadly, the upcoming European tour will not be happening,” Guns N’ Roses said in their statement.
“Things are changing daily and we want to keep our fans, crew members and band safe. We are working hard with our promoters, venues and cities/countries on next steps and will make further announcements as soon as we can.
“Thank you for your patience, we will get through this together and look forward to seeing you all very soon…”
