Guitarist congratulates city\'s football team on FA Cup win and announces live date
Slash took to Twitter after Stoke beat Bolton 5-0 in the FA Cup semi-final win on Sunday, congratulating his former hometown's team on their win.
"I got up to find that the satellite channel the match was on I don't subscribe to! But I hear Stoke won 5/zip! Congrats Stoke City!"
He then also revealed that he would be playing a show in the city at some point in July.
"Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to Wembley next month," he wrote, "but I'm definitely playing Stoke in July."
