Slash Talks Album Number 2
Expect a new record early next year
In an interview with Australian radio station Triple M, Slash confirmed he’s working on new material for a solo album he hopes to release in 2012.
"I’m touring around with a sort of mobile studio and we’re working on material that I’m gonna do with vocalist Myles Kennedy for the next record," Slash said. "And I’m looking at probably early next year."
Slash has previously revealed that unlike his star studded debut album, Kennedy will take on all of the lead vocals on the follow-up.
And it seems that the Slash solo project has trumped any new material from Velvet Revolver after Duff McKagan recently revealed that the band would not be doing anything until after the second Slash solo record.
