Slash Reveals Solo Album Roster
Full details of new album\'s guest stars
Former Guns N Roses guitarist Slash has revealed the tracklist for his forthcoming solo album.
The album, which appears now to be called simply ‘Slash’ is due to be released in April and features an array of high profile rock stars, including Dave Grohl, Ian Astbury, Lemmy, Ozzy and Chris Cornell as well as a couple of pop stars.
"The idea was really simple in the beginning," said Slash. "These are all artists I wanted to work with – that I thought it would be amazing to do something creative and collaborative. And I was so impressed with what everyone brought to the table. They were all so committed to doing a good job. And we had a lot of fun making these songs."
The album is co-produced by Eric Valentine (Queens Of The Stone Age) and features a rhythm section of bassist Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction) and drummer Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails).
