Slash Attacked Onstage

Slash was attacked onstage in Italy last week.

The former GNR man was playing in Milan on Thursday night when a crazy fan managed to slip past security and get onstage and try to hug Slash in a particularly aggressive way, knocking him to the ground and busting a very nice Les Paul in the process.

Security quickly flung the stage invader off the stage and, ever the trooper, Slash carried on playing his broken guitar and managed to get all the way to the end of the song.

After the show the ever positive Slash posted a note on his Twitter page: "What'd I say? Rowdy crowd for sure. But amazing! The guy who nailed me didn't take me down but he busted my poor gtr. Ah well, it was a kick ass rock show in the 1st order!"
