Osbourne first revealed last summer that she had started writing the script for the “tearjerker” movie, which will focus on her early relationship with Ozzy and how their “lives were totally different but very similar in ways.”

Now, in a fresh interview with Variety, Osbourne has revealed more about the project saying she is still searching for a co-script writer, but has already approached the Oscar-winning Danny Boyle about directing.

Commenting on the movie’s themes, Osbourne said: “I don’t want to do another rock and roll, sex, drugs and money movie about a musician.

“That’s not what I’m doing. There hasn’t been a movie about a woman that actually works on the management side — that’s a true story — and somebody that succeeds through the struggle and you come out the other side.”

She continued: “It’s everything before we get married. It’s the madness of my childhood, growing up in the industry with a powerful father who was somewhat violent.”

Asked who she would like to play herself, Osbourne said: “It’s too early to say but I would get a complete unknown for Ozzy. It’s Ozzy at a very young age. It’s Ozzy at 20.”

Last week, Ozzy commemorated the 37th anniversary of his infamous bat-biting incident in Des Moines, Iowa by launching a Plush Bat toy featuring a Velcro detachable head.

He also recently helped his former drummer Lee Kerslake complete his bucket list by sending him Platinum album certifications for ‘Blizzard of Ozz’ and ‘Diary of a Madman’. You can read more on this story right here.
