Scorpions To Re-record Classics
Bassist lets slip that the band may release a new record later this year
Blabbermouth reports that Polish musician Pawel Maciwoda, who has been the bassist for German hard rock veterans since 2003, revealed during a brand new interview with the "Dzien Dobry TVN" show on Polish TVÂ that the band will enter the studio in the fall to lay down a collection of re-recorded versions of Scorpions classics.
There's no word on any release date for the album but it's apparently tentatively scheduled for early 2012.
The Scorpions are on the road at the moment on their farewell tour. They are expected to be out on the road for the best part of the next two years. They released their last album of original material, Sting In The Tail, last year.
