Visiting Catton Park in Derbyshire for the very first time, Scorpions will bring the Ronnie James Dio Stage to an emphatic close on Sunday 11th August.

Enthusing about their headline slot, Scorpions said: "We are very happy and proud to be headlining at Bloodstock Festival 2019 in Derbyshire and we‘re thrilled to rock our fans in the UK once again like a hurricane.”

Standard weekend and VIP tickets to Bloodstock Open Air 2019 are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets right now.

Scorpions’ headline appearance at Bloodstock follows their triumphant set at Stone Free Festival at London’s The O2 back in June.

Rudolf Schenker, Klaus Meine, Mikkey Dee, Matthias Jabs and Paweł Mąciwoda join a Bloodstock line-up that already boasts Friday night headliner Sabaton together with ex-Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, Children of Bodom, Soilwork, Cradle of Filth, Queensrÿche and Hypocrisy.

Dee Snider’s performance will come almost exactly three years after Twisted Sister toped the bill at Bloodstock. The headline appearance was their last ever UK show as part of their farewell Forty and F*** It Tour.

Bloodstock Open Air once again takes place at Catton Park in Derbyshire from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th August 2019.

Many more acts, including the Saturday night headliner, will be confirmed in the coming weeks and months.

Judas Priest headlined the Friday night at Bloodstock 2018 in what was their only UK show this year.
