Scorpions Farewell To Run Through Next Year

The Scorpions’ farewell tour will run right the way through 2011, it has been announced.

The band are due to hang up their guitars following the tour, but have never given a timescale on how long that tour may be.

But now it’s been confirmed that it will be running for at least another 15 months.

The band are due to head back to the North American cities which they haven’t visited in 2010 – and presumably they’ll be heading to the UK at some point during the year as well (what odds on a festival slot or two?).

The band released their last ever studio album, Sting In The Tail, in March.
