Saxon Talk "Working Class" Sound
Biff Byford says they wanted a more organic feel to their latest album
In a new interview with Guitar International the Saxon frontman says that the band purposely wanted to recapture their 80s sound on their latest record, Call To Arms.
"We have a good team in place on this CD. The drums were recorded straight with no samples. All the guitar songs were organic. We went back to a more working-class sound. We intended to get back to our roots and got into that mindset from the beginning."
