Saxon Start Work On New Album
They've already started planning a follow-up to Call To Arms
Drummer Nigel Glockler revealed on his Facebook page recently, "Expecting Quinny Paul Quinn; guitar down this week, so he, Doug Scarratt; guitar and myself will be in the home studio working on songs for the next album before the whole band meet up again in March. The plan (at the moment) is to have the album written by May, then studio between festivals this summer. We are hoping for a January 2013 release, but as you know, things are always subject to change."
In the meantime you will need to make do with the band's forthcoming live DVD and CD set, Saxon - Heavy Metal Thunder - Live - Eagles Over Wacken, which is released on 23 April.
