In a UK festival exclusive, the metal titans will top the bill on Sunday 30th July with their legendary full ‘Eagle’ production.

Saxon singer Biff Byford enthuses: “It's really great to be asked back to Steelhouse Festival to headline for a second time, we’re bringing the Eagle back to the mountain, so bring on the heavy metal thunder.”

Waxing lyrical about their blockbuster booking, promoters Mikey Evans and Max Rhead said: “It's an honour to have metal icons, Saxon return to Steelhouse. Their 2013 headline performance is hands down one of the most memorable ever to have taken place on The Mountain.

“It really raised the bar in terms of production and we’re delighted the band have agreed to bring it back. This will be the only opportunity to see this production at a UK festival so it’s going to be a very special show...The Eagle lands again at the Steelhouse Festival!”

Also confirmed for the seventh Steelhouse Festival are Broken Witt Rebels and Inglorious. Saturday headliners Skindred and the brilliant Stone Broken were confirmed earlier this month.

Broken Witt Rebels said: “Since the start, Broken Witt Rebels have been willing to move mountains to be heard, and now we're playing on top of one!

“Steelhouse Festival has been on our radar for a while now, it has so much to offer with a massive range of artists from heavyweights like Skindred to metal icons Saxon. We’re chuffed to be playing SF as the new blood of British Rock. Bring it on!”

Billed as ‘The Welsh International Classic Rock Festival’, the seventh Steelhouse Festival takes place at Hafod-Y-Dafal Farm in Ebbw Vale, Gwent, Wales on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July 2017.
