Sammy Hagar, Edgar Winter Drummer Dies
Chuck Ruff sadly passes away aged 60
Ruff played with Sammy Hagar on the Street Machine (1979) and Danger Zone (1979) albums, but it is perhaps for his work with the Edgar Winter Group that he is best known.
Ruff played with the EWG from 1972 until 1976 and its his drums you can hear on their classic single 'Frankenstein.'
He passed away in San Francisco after a long illness.
