Sambora saga continues...
Guitarist will not appear on the European or South African legs of the band's world tour.
"Due to a personal matter, Richie Sambora will not be performing on the European and South African leg of the tour. All shows will go on as scheduled" read a statement on the official Bon Jovi website.
Sambora left the band at the start of their run in Canada last month, with no solid reason given. Jon Bon Jovi confirmed last week on the Ellen De Generes show that Sambora was still very much "a part of the band", although his absence continues to mystify fans.
The band have also postponed their hometown gig in New Jersey on 24 July, due to scheduling issues. The show will now take place on the 27th July instead.
