Sabbath Door Open For Bill Return
The band say that he is welcome back
In a new interview with the NME (conducted just after the Birmingham gig a couple of weeks ago) the three band members of the band who are due to play at Download this weekend have said that Bill Ward is welcome to return.
"We've tried everything with Bill at the moment, and it's just not happening," Iommi tells the NME. "Our legal people are dealing with his legal people. It's all nonsense. We haven't actually heard from Bill, any of this stuff. It's all been through his lawyers."
"The door is open," added Ozzy. "As far as I know, his requests were very unreasonable. Nothing would have been better than if he would have been willing to play with us. I don't know. I don't deal with the business."
