Ronnie Wood announces Chuck Berry tribute album 'Mad Lad' and headline show
Ronnie Wood will release his new album ‘Ronnie Wood with His Wild Five - Mad Lad: A Live Tribute to Chuck Berry’ on Friday 15th November via BMG.
A nod to his musical hero Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones guitarist’s album contains 11 songs recorded live at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne, Dorset in autumn 2018, where Ronnie was joined by singer Imelda May and pianist Ben Waters.
Alongside Chuck Berry classics like ‘Little Queenie’, ‘Johnny B Goode’ and ‘Rock and Roll Music’, the album features the track ‘Tribute To Chuck Berry penned by Ronnie himself plus ‘Worried Life Blues’ written by Maceo Merriweather.
