The Rolling Stones are currently deep in rehearsals for their upcoming sold-out dates in London and New York. Presently based in Paris, guitarist Ronnie Wood has stated they are planning to perform a series of gigs in small venues as warm-ups. Most likely the will perform under the name "The Cockroaches", a pseudonym they have used for decades.

"There’s going to be little club gigs that we’re gonna surprise ourselves to do as well. We’ll bung a few in next week or the week after, so look out for any Cockroaches gigs or whatever! I don’t know who we’ll be billed as but we’ll turn up somewhere and put a few to the test. Tiny, 200, 300 people kind of places" said Wood.
