Roger Waters The Wall set for DVD/Blu-ray release
Following a one-night-only global cinematic event, the film is now getting a home entertainment release.
Expected on 16 November 2015 and available to pre-order now, 'Roger Waters The Wall' will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, digital download and 2-disc Blu-ray Special Edition.
The main feature consists of three elements: immersive concert footage shot during 'The Wall Live' 2010-2013 sold-out world tour (the highest grossing tour by any solo artist in history), a deeply personal road-movie following Roger Waters on his journey to explore the impact of war on his own family, and an anti-war protest film highlighting the human cost of conflict.
Roger Waters said: “I’m glad that we have an opportunity to share the film with people on a wider scale. It has had a deep effect on my life; and I’m not the only one. This release provides an opportunity to remember all of our fallen loved ones.”
Bonus features on the standard edition include Waters visiting the grave of poet and soldier, Frank Thompson, who lost his life during the Second World War. The 2-disc Blu-ray Special Edition includes over 95 minutes of additional footage, including the moment David Gilmour and Nick Mason joined Roger Waters on stage at London's O2 Arena for a performance of 'Comfortably Numb'.
