Roger Hodgson Closes Door On Supertramp
There will be no reunion
Last year there was some talk about Roger Hodgson reuniting with Supertramp, but it seems that that idea is now dead in the water.
Speaking to Billboard.com Hodgson says that "unfortunately the door was closed there. Nothing came of it." He adds that "all's quiet on the Western front right now. That was probably the last opportunity for us to do anything together again. And to tell you the truth, I've been very, very happy doing what I do. I feel like I'm able to give what I want to give in my shows, but I know there's certain magic and mystique and a lot of memories connected to the name. I gave it my best shot."
Hodgson is about to undertake a massive world tour that stretches into November. There are some European dates already scheduled but no UK dates as yet.
