Rod Stewart To Play Hard Rock Calling

He\'ll headline Sunday 26 June bash

The rock n roll legend will top the final night of the 24-26 June festival at Hyde Park in London. It's Stewart's first appearance at the festival, which is entering its sixth year.

"Sounds like a perfect night - the people, the place - and I intend to do my part to bring a whole lot of music and more than a few suprises to Hard Rock Calling," says Stewart.

"Rod Stewart is one of the world’s greatest showmen – a timeless entertainer who has delighted fans around the world for years," said Hamish Dodds, president and CEO, Hard Rock International. "We are thrilled to add him as a Hard Rock Calling headliner and to include him in our 40th anniversary celebration."

Tickets for Rod Stewart are on sale at 9am on Friday.
