Rod Stewart Hints At Beck Reunion
Former Jeff Beck Group bandmates to talk about making an album
Rod Stewart has suggested that he wants to work with former bandmate Jeff Beck once more.
Speaking to Billboard about the latest volume of his alarmingly successful American Songbook covers albums, the former Faces frontman revealed that he wants to record a number different albums in different genres, including blues and country. And one of the albums that he wants to record is with his former band leader, Jeff Beck.
"I may record with Jeff Beck, and I may have to write a few songs... I’ve got a meeting with Jeff in a couple weeks in London, and we’re going to see if we can work together and see what each of us wants to do. We’re a little bit older now and we can tolerate each other.”
