Rocking the Grammys
Rock makes a big impact at Sunday's Grammy Awards.
The Black Keys took home four awards, including Best Rock Song ("Lonely Boy") and Best Rock Album ("El Camino").Â
Iron Maiden lost out to Halestorm in the Best Rock/Metal Performance category, competing against Anthrax, Lamb of God, Marilyn Manson and Megadeth.Â
Despite being nominated for two awards, Jack White's Blunderbuss failed to take either of them. However, the record was named as the year's best-selling vinyl, moving an impressive 33,000 units. White also performed "Love Interruption" and "Freedom at 21" during the evening; the latter being nominated for Best Rock Song, but losing out to The Black Keys.
Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor picked up Best Score for Visual Media for his soundtrack to the movie ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’.
A selection of all-star artists also performed a rendition of "The Weight" in tribute to the late Levon Helm.
