50 rock albums set for release in 2024
With Bruce Dickinson, Magnum, Saxon, Judas Priest, Green Day and many more
Planet Rock takes a look at 50 rock and heavy metal albums we’re looking forward in 2024.
Artists with studio albums in the pipeline over the next 12 months include Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson, Green Day, Saxon, Judas Priest, Florence Black, Blackberry Smoke, Steve Hackett, Hawkwind, GUN, Quireboys, These Wicked Rivers and many more.
We've also included a handful of live albums and box sets from the likes of Thunder and Black Sabbath.
One of the first releases is Magnum’s 23rd studio album ‘Here Comes the Rain’, which is sadly the swansong release of Tony Clarkin following his recent passing aged 77.
Alongside the locked in releases, we’ve also included some artists tenuously releasing albums this year such as Deep Purple, Nightwish, Slash, Anthrax and David Gilmour.
